Position Overview:
Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to extract valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Ensure that all databases, to include ManagerPlus, stay up-to-date with policies and procedures in place.
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Assist in the achievement of meeting company goals and initiatives, profitability and productivity requirements
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Develop and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Perform database integration to merge existing database into new ones
- Conduct assessments to identify areas that requires modifications or updates
- Design and test beta version of a database to determine how well they meet the needs of end users
- Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
- Liaise with company management to develop database effective in storing and retrieving necessary information
- Evaluate the needs of users and implement solutions to meet their data management needs
- Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of ManagerPlus CMMS is preferred
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Familiarity with database queries
- Knowledge of database design and theories
- Familiarity with database management best practices

- Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
- Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens
