Position Overview:
Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting specific projects and assignments, provides data, summaries, reports and recommendations that provide the basis for management to recommend best practice and to determine appropriate courses of action. This includes variance analysis, KPI tracking, and assisting with the forecast and planning exercises. The candidate must be eager to learn the day-to-day operations and how it impacts the financial picture and be willing to assume increasing levels of responsibility as Estis continues to see exponential growth. Collaborative partner to the operations team, marketing, human resources, and other functional groups.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Perform variance analysis on actuals vs forecast and actuals vs operating plan

Maintain financial reports/models

Create and track key performance indicators (KPIs) as it relates to revenue, costs, and profitability

Assists Finance Manager in preparing the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts

Assists Finance Manager in preparing materials for KPI reviews with across all functional groups

Assists with special projects as assigned

Partner primarily with the Finance Manager but will be expected to liaise with other functional
groups as it relates to the overall financial picture of the company

Serve point of contact for Area Supervisors inquiring on invoice details and other related items

Provide data analysis for Estis Management as needed

Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Two to four years of professional experience is required

Advanced Excel skills
-
Effective business communicator

Strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and tasks

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting
packages
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb
steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related
distribution documents

Ability to communicate verbally using a telephone
