The Estis CARES committee prioritizes and directs involvement in community enrichment projects as well as allocates corporate-funded charitable donations. Estis CARES is made up of team members from both Estis Compression and McClung Energy Services and is responsible for bringing together employees across functions and backgrounds to improve inclusivity and form stronger networks through community involvement and other engagement events.
DONATIONS REPORT OUT:
In 2021 Estis CARES donated over $50,000 dollars to help individuals and organizations in communities where we operate. Some of the causes championed for 2021 have been the Wounded Warriors Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Hardluck Auto, Habitat for Humanity, as well as helping fellow employees and their families who have suffered hardships.
Our employees give generously of their own resources, time, and hearts. As an organization we support our coworkers and the causes they champion. To further encourage community involvement through the Estis CARES program, we provide employees paid time for volunteer activities.
2022 CARES DONATIONS:
The breakdown for Estis CARES donations for 2022 are below. The majority of activities have centered around supporting employees experiencing hardships as well as the East Texas community following tornado activity. Additional donations and events and planned for the remainder of the year that reflect the growing geographical foot print of the Estis organization.
In Kilgore, Estis CARES sponsored SAFFE (Special Abilities Family Fun Event) DAY - a one-day event featuring free activities custom-tailored for our Everyday Heroes, children and adults with special needs and special abilities, their families, and caregivers.

"Part of wanting to be in [Estis] CARES, is that I wanted to give back to my community. Recently I was able to do that by volunteering at a local event in Kilgore named S.A.F.F.E. (Special Abilities Family Fun Event) Day hosted by the Kilgore Fire Department. It was an exciting and wonderful event that I was proud to be a part of. I am proud to be working for a company that is committed to helping our community by sponsoring an event such as this one. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this day!" - Linda Rosales

THE PIPKIN FAMILY:
Brandy Pipkin, a parts coordinator for McClung Energy Services, joined the organization in 2021 and has been a valued member of the McClung Energy team. Her strong work ethic and sense of community led her to establish a relief initiative for East Texans affected by tornadoes that touched down in late March.
Later in 2022, Brandy received upsetting news of her own. Her 15 year old son, Tyler, was diagnosed with a rare type of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). For any parent the thought of this type of diagnosis emits worry, doubt, and fear.
Estis CARES is currently offering support to Brandy and her family, but would also like to invite the EC/MES team to participate in providing support for one of our own. A GoFund me account was set-up by a friend of the Pipkin family to allow monetary donations to help support them financially during this difficult time. If you’d like to donate please visit the link below to learn more about Tyler’s situation and support the Pipkin family.
If you’d like to champion a cause, join Estis CARES, or simply have questions about how you can be more active in the Estis CARES community – please reach out to any of our committee members or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
